The Office of Research and Engagement (ORE), in collaboration with the Controller’s Office and A&F systems, has announced the fall 2025 Research Administration Training program. 

Providing a comprehensive overview of research administration for new and seasoned staff and faculty at UMass Amherst, the program’s offerings include:

• Core 3 - Proposal Development Methods and Tools
• Core 4 - Award Management, Acceptance, and Negotiation
• Core 5 - Financial Research Administration - Controller’s Office
• Core 6 - SUMMIT Financials for Departmental Post Award Management
• PRO Series - Shipping at UMass: Your Guide to Using Mail Services, Distribution Services, and eShip Global to Efficiently Ship Items and Comply with Regulatory Requirements
• Cost Transfers 101 - Controller's Office
• Kuali Session 1: Basics
• Kuali Session 2: Budgeting
• Kuali Session 3: Advanced Budgeting - S2S
