Research Administration CORE Curriculum Training Program

CORE Curriculum trainings and descriptions are provided below. Participants will be given a certificate of completion if they participate in all six trainings. These trainings are meant to be taken in order and are offered once a semester. Registration is done through Workplace Learning and Development (WLD). Register here.

Kuali Research Training

Participants will receive a Kuali Training Certificate of Completion if they complete all three proposal development trainings. The trainings are progressive in content and offered once a semester. It is strongly encouraged that users take them sequentially. Kuali Research Support Documentation can be found here. Registration is done through Workplace Learning and Development (WLD). Research Administration PRO Series Training Program

PRO Series trainings are offered once a semester. Registration is done through Workplace Learning and Development (WLD). Register here. Past topics include:

Research Administration Open Forums

These open forums are a great way for research staff around campus to share experiences and best practices, connect with Research & Engagement staff, and build a common understanding around research administration here at UMass. Most forums are held on Zoom with one in-person networking event per year in April.
