Enrollment is open for the spring 2021 Leadership Academy program, Foundations of Supervision. This program is designed for individuals with less than two years of supervisory experience and who currently supervise or will become a supervisor in the next three months.

In addition to an interactive virtual classroom and online learning, program participants become part of a valuable learning community that emphasizes learning from one another, problem-solving together and building a network of support and resources. Each program cohort consists of peers from across the university who can apply the Leadership Academy’s leadership development framework to their specific position and work context.

The UMass Amherst Leadership Academy is open to UMASS Amherst employees in supervisor roles. Separate trainings are provided for supervisors of student workers; visit the Workplace Learning and Development workshops website to learn more.
