General Information and Expectations
- Workshops listed in the catalog are free for all UMass Amherst employees.
- Workshop descriptions will state whether the workshop will be held on-site or virtually.
- Talk to your supervisor about release-time.
- For virtual workshops, you will be emailed the meeting link the day before the workshop.
- To maximize the benefits of a virtual session, we strongly encourage learners to keep their cameras on and choose a participation environment where they feel comfortable sharing their thoughts openly and can minimize distractions.
- Full attendance of a workshop will be recorded in your Internal Training Summary in HR Direct.
