UMass ADVANCE is currently accepting applications and nominations for 2026-27 ADVANCE Faculty Fellows.

ADVANCE Faculty Fellows partner with the UMass ADVANCE leadership team to connect members of their academic units with essential resources, recognition, and relationship-building opportunities that facilitate successful collaboration and foster a sense of value and inclusion. Faculty Fellows provide important recommendations and feedback to the team about ADVANCE research and practice and liaise with their departments to promote the work of UMass ADVANCE. 

All faculty members and librarians on any appointment track are welcome for consideration, regardless of where they are on their career path, and faculty members may nominate themselves or another faculty member. The time commitment for this campus service is light, though Faculty Fellows should be committed to supporting organizational learning and change that advances faculty equity across the university’s intersecting identities. 

The nomination form requests a very brief statement of interest and a curriculum vitae. The deadline to apply or nominate someone is Monday, May 4.
