Change of Major Request

A Change of Major Request is used to change your primary major to one within the College of Natural Sciences (CNS) or add a secondary major within CNS. 

All major changes require either a meeting with or a record review by one of our academic advisors. Submit this form to initiate the process.

Secondary major requests will not be reviewed during the registration period for Fall 2026 (March 30-April 27, 2026). We will begin secondary major request reviews again starting April 28, 2026, in the order they were received. 

Primary major changes will continue to be reviewed but this may take longer than usual. 

You can typically expect to receive an email outlining next steps within 5 business days of submitting this form, but please be patient during this busy period. Please do not submit multiple forms while you are waiting for us to review your request.
