Inclusive excellence is what we aspire to, where all members of the community feel a sense of belonging, feel valued, and have the support they need to thrive. Inclusive excellence is woven into the fabric of who we are, it creates an environment where all people can make a difference through how they contribute to larger goals; an environment where we can listen, be curious, and where respect is a social responsibility. 

Inclusive excellence is a continual practice where we seek to constantly broaden our definitions of inclusion, rethinking our ideas, and becoming more proficient through practice and developing the needed skills to ensure all students, faculty, and staff thrive and have equitable access to high impact practices and experiences.

When people can be their authentic and best selves, and feel comfortable speaking up and sharing ideas, offering critique or differing opinions, everyone benefits.
