Eydis Lima ’12 is an engineer and entrepreneur. She seeks to innovate solutions for women in the areas of gynecologic oncology, medical devices, and software as a medical device (SaMD) services. Lima has more than 5 years of experience in the field of entrepreneurial business development, and altogether has 12 years of experience in the technical space of the life sciences. As a research associate at Yale University, she performed research on the ovarian cancer therapeutic Cantrixil, which is now entering Phase II clinical trials with Vivesto. Currently, Lima is focused on supporting founders and entrepreneurs with their product development efforts at C3 Medical Device Consulting, LLC. In addition to her BS from UMass Amherst, Lima has an MS in Entrepreneurship from the University of Notre Dame. Lima is also the Founder & CEO of Curiva, a startup with the mission of detecting cancers affecting women earlier and noninvasively via diaPatchTM, a wearable diagnostic patch.
