Center for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy

The Center for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (CEERE) conducts research and provides education and technical assistance for a range of clean energy technologies and applications. With support from state and federal partners, the Center provides services at no cost to industrial, commercial and municipal clients, helping identify and implement cost-effective measures to reduce operating expenses, greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental impacts.

Based in the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, CEERE offers valuable training and research experience for graduate and undergraduate engineering students.
