CEERE is winding down and merging with ETI.

Historically, the Center for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (CEERE) focused on a range of clean energy technologies and applications. With support from state and federal partners, the Center provided services at no cost to industrial, commercial and municipal clients, helping identify and implement cost-effective measures to reduce operating expenses, greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental impacts.

Research in clean energy and energy efficiency continues in the UMass Amherst Energy Transition Institute (ETI), including valuable training and research experiences for graduate and undergraduate engineering students. Read more about the merging of CEERE and ETI and visit the historical page for CEERE.
