UMass Amherst Sweeps Student Awards at 2025 Safe Mobility Conference

The 2025 Safe Mobility Conference, held last week at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, proudly announces the winners of its Student Poster Competition. In a remarkable achievement, students from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst secured all three top honors in this prestigious, peer-reviewed event.
An international panel of academic judges reviewed the posters, which showcased innovative research aimed at improving transportation safety and mobility. The theme of this year’s conference was "Delivering Safe & Reliable Transportation Systems," with sessions covering a wide range of topics, including Safe System, micromobility, vulnerable road users, vehicle technology, and road user behavior.

- 1st Place ($1,000 Scholarship): Tolu Oke, PhD Student, Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Massachusetts-Amherst

The Safe Mobility Conference is one of the premier scientific forums where top researchers and policymakers come together to share groundbreaking work.
