Held annually, the Engineering and Computing Career Day at UMass Amherst is hosted by the Riccio College of Engineering, in cooperation with the Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences.

Registration and Payment
We will follow up about payment. Students are $20. Industry and teachers/counselors are free. Scholarships are available.
Schedule Overview
- 8:30 am - Check in and continental breakfast
- 8:45 am - 1:00 pm - Full program including lunch
- 1:15 - 2:30 pm - Optional after hours student round-table panel and tours
Vegetarian options available for breakfast & lunch. Other dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated in event buffet, however additional food options are available in the Campus Center at cost if needed.
Parking passes to Campus Garage will be provided for passenger cars and vans with a clearance need less than 7' 2" . Special accommodations for oversized vans can be made in advance. Bus parking will also be available. Transportation arrangements and mileage are the responsibility of the school/student unless otherwise arranged with UMass. Rotem-Wildeman, Ph.D., is a global research and development executive, chemical engineer, and innovation leader who believes science reaches its highest purpose when it improves people’s everyday lives. As Chief Research & Development Officer at Keurig Dr Pepper, she leads broad technical teams spanning ingredient technology, flavor and concentrate systems, product, process, and packaging development, quality and food safety, and scientific and regulatory affairs. Through this work, she helps turn curiosity, consumer insight, and engineering excellence into innovation with the potential to reach millions of people.
Her career across Keurig Dr Pepper, The LIVEKINDLY Collective, Godiva Chocolatier, PepsiCo, Physic Ventures, and Nestlé R&D reflects a consistent commitment to building bridges: between research and the marketplace, between universities and industry, between startups and global enterprises, and between bold vision and disciplined execution. Dr. Rotem-Wildeman has built and led multidisciplinary teams around the world, helping transform ideas into products, capabilities, and organizations that shape the future of beverages, coffee, chocolate, snacks, nutrition, and plant-based foods.
Who should attend?
- High school students, especially girls (!), interested in the fields of engineering or computer and information science.
- All genders are welcome! The day is just geared to empower girls to pursue engineering and computing, fields that are still male dominated.
- We try and limit to ~10 students per school to make the opportunity available to as many schools as possible!
