The UMass Amherst College of Engineering promotes three of its skilled and dedicated lecturers: MIE’s Jim Lagrant, BME’s Sam Wojda, and ChE’s Dandan Xu.

Tang served as an ECE professor for more than 35 years and co-founded the Shirley and Ting-wei Tang Endowment Lecture Series with his wife in 1999.

Sup received an ADVANCE Peer Mentoring Award, while Baker was a member of the faculty team that won an Equitable Practices in Collaboration Award.

The purpose of the Douglas Fund is to provide an Early Career Faculty Development Award annually to an untenured faculty member in the ChE department.

Three gifted faculty members receive the Outstanding Senior Faculty Award and Barbara H. and Joseph I. Goldstein Outstanding Junior Faculty Award.
