Aerospace Engineering
Aerodynamics, aerospace materials, structures, propulsion, flight mechanics, and stability and control.
According to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, about 3,800 openings for aerospace engineers are projected each year, on average, over the 2022-2032 decade. Furthermore, a 2022 Aerospace and Defense Workforce Study found that 78.1% of companies value university hires with strong technical and digital skills in aerospace engineering.
To this end, we have launched a vibrant certificate program in aerospace engineering that includes a high-quality, high-value 21st century course-based educational curriculum—satisfying both the desire of students for more aerospace content and the needs of employers in the rapidly growing aerospace industry.
This new certificate program will further our active partnerships with our aerospace-related industry partners such as Boeing, Pratt & Whitney, SpaceX, and Blue Origin. Students will gain a breadth of knowledge in topics related to aerospace engineering, including aerodynamics, aerospace materials, structures, propulsion, flight mechanics, and stability and control.
