About

The Biosensing and Biomarker Research Laboratory focuses on translational research to solve the paradox between quantitative biosensing and real-world expectations by developing new technologies. Our current work is organized in three directions: (1) point-of-care testing (POCT) and automated lab testing devices for disease biomarkers; (2) protein engineering and machine learning-assisted single molecule proteomics and next-generation protein sequencing; (3) PFAS pollutant detection and remediation for environmental health. We aspire to meet the unmet needs in the world’s most significant challenges.
