UMass Amherst Community Campaign Launch and Nonprofit Fair Set for Oct. 26

All faculty and staff are invited to attend the UMass Amherst Community Campaign (UMACC) Launch Party and Nonprofit Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 26, in the Campus Center Auditorium from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Representatives from up to 50 local nonprofit organizations will be there to celebrate the launch and the UMass community coming together to kick off our campaign to raise $450,000. UMACC donors are invited to suggest additional local nonprofits to invite to the fair. 

In the past three years, UMACC has raised $1,387,000 for nonprofit organizations with approximately 60% staying in western Massachusetts, helping our friends and neighbors in need. The campaign is co-chaired by Barbara Krauthamer, dean of the College of Humanities and Fine Arts, and Greg Carvel, head coach of Men’s Ice Hockey.
