The Office of Faculty Development has announced the UMass Amherst Delphi Leadership Award, a new honor to recognize the achievements of non-tenure track (NTT) faculty who have provided exceptional leadership and made innovative contributions in support of their peers at UMass Amherst.

Last year, UMass Amherst was selected as a winner of the 2024 Delphi Award by the Pullias Center for Higher Education at the University of Southern California Rossier School of Education, in partnership with the American Association of Colleges & Universities. Funds from the prize will be used for this newly established annual award to recognize the excellence of NTT faculty members throughout campus, as three awardees will each receive $1,500.

Any member of the UMass Amherst community can nominate an NTT faculty member via the online nomination form through 5p.m. Friday, Feb. 28.

“I want to thank the team members in the Office of Faculty Development for their continued dedication to supporting the success of our non-tenure-track faculty here at UMass Amherst,” said Fouad Abd-El-Khalick, provost and senior vice chancellor for academic affairs. “It is because of their ongoing efforts the university is able to utilize the Delphi Award as an opportunity to recognize the exceptional leadership of our faculty and celebrate the incredible work they do.”

More information about the award, nomination process and eligibility is available on the OFD website
