OFD Announces Mutual Mentoring Grant Program Call for Proposals

The Office of Faculty Development (OFD) is pleased to solicit proposals for the Mutual Mentoring Grant Program for projects to begin in 2022-23.

OFD's Mutual Mentoring Grant program provides funding to individual faculty (micro grants) or groups of faculty (team grants) for the purpose of developing mentoring networks.

Mutual Mentoring Team Grants
Team Grants support faculty-driven, context-sensitive mentoring projects, orchestrated by teams that conceive and carry out their own project plans. Team Grants support networks comprised of four or more faculty, and may include a mix of types and ranks of faculty, as long as the majority of the individuals meet the eligibility criteria. OFD will fund Team Grants of up to $6,000 per award.

Micro Grants are individual mentoring grants that are intended to encourage faculty to identify desirable areas for professional growth and opportunity, and to develop the necessary mentoring relationship(s) to make such change(s) possible. OFD will fund projects up to $1,500 per award.
