The libraries at UMass Amherst will be closed until further notice as the university continues to respond to contain the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Simon Neame, dean of university libraries, says the decision was made in consideration of the health and safety of UMass Amherst students and library staff.

Library staff will be updating the libraries’ website and will ramp up support for online services including scanning course reserve materials, digital interlibrary loan and online research support.

More information about library services can be found at www.library.umass.edu/about-the-libraries/covid-19-updates/.
