Athletics Suspends All Varsity Intercollegiate Contests

UMass Athletics has announced that due to heightened concerns regarding the spread of coronavirus all home and away varsity intercollegiate athletic contests have been suspended. In addition, team travel for varsity programs scheduled to leave campus for spring break training and competition has been canceled.

The Atlantic 10 and Hockey East have also announced the cancellation of the men’s basketball championship and Hockey East tournament, respectively.
