The Energy Transition Symposium at UMass Amherst Scheduled for May 3

On Tuesday, May 3, starting at 10:30 a.m. UMass Amherst will host The Energy Transition Symposium in the Student Union Ballroom.

The Energy Transition Symposium at UMass Amherst is a showcase for energy transition research and campus climate action, including (but not limited to) work in STEM, social sciences, humanities, business, and interdisciplinary studies.

All members of the UMass and the five-college community with projects related to energy transition, environmental justice and sustainability will have an opportunity to present at the poster session. The deadline to submit a project for the poster session is Tuesday, April 19.

The event will also feature a career panel and a keynote address by Secretary of Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA), Kathleen A. Theoharides. Chancellor Kumble R. Subbaswamy will deliver introductory remarks.
