The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) will offer “End the Semester with Care,” a one-hour workshop designed to help instructors thoughtfully end their courses while fostering student success, on Wednesday, April 16.

The workshop, scheduled for 1 p.m. in CTL Conference Room 714 in the W.E.B Du Bois Library, focuses on strategies to wrap up the course with care, including ways to communicate empathy, encourage reflection on learning and reframe challenges as opportunities for growth. Faculty members will explore practical approaches like fostering a sense of belonging, gathering constructive feedback and preparing students for their next steps.

The goal of the event is to ensure that attendees will leave equipped to reinvigorate their teaching while setting students up for meaningful success beyond the classroom.
