The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is hosting a workshop to help faculty best leverage Forward FOCUS, CTL’s confidential and customizable course feedback tool, to inform improved course design and improve student learning, for both remote and in-person instruction.

The workshop, on Friday, April 9 at 10 a.m., is designed for those who are considering using and modifying the Forward FOCUS, but is also appropriate for those who want to learn more about FOCUS.

Using breakout rooms and whole group discussion, participants will have time to draft, share and get feedback on new questions that they’ve tried or are thinking about trying.

Participants are encouraged to come with either a question they want to include on their Forward FOCUS or an aspect of their course/teaching for which they want student feedback.

The session will end with tips on motivating students to respond, to get comprehensive, anonymous and thoughtful feedback.

Registration is now open.
