Annual Enrollment for GIC Health Insurance and Flexible Spending Opens April 5

The Group Insurance Commission’s (GIC) annual enrollment for health insurance or flexible spending accounts (FSA) begins Wednesday, April 5, and ends Wednesday, May 3.

Plan and enrollment information is available on the Massachusetts GIC website and human resources website. There are changes to multiple benefits for the plan year beginning July 1, 2023. Employees are encouraged to actively shop and evaluate the different coverage options and review the guide for detailed benefits information at https://www.mass.gov/doc/2023-2024-state-employees-benefits-guide/download.

To change enrollment during the GIC annual enrollment, login to the member portal by May 3. Employees who choose to enroll in an FSA account must enroll each year. Total Administrative Services Corporation (TASC) will be the new administrator of FSA benefits. To enroll, go to massfsatasc.com.
