2022-23 CRF Family Research Scholars Announced

The Center for Research on Families (CRF) has announced its faculty cohort of 2022-23 Family Research Scholars. The six scholars, representing four UMass Amherst colleges and one school, were selected based on their promising work in family-related research and represent a wide range of disciplines and research interests.

Hosted by CRF since 2003, the Family Research Scholars program is a year-long interdisciplinary seminar designed to build lasting and productive connections among researchers of various disciplines by providing concrete skills for successful grant submission. This includes peer and faculty feedback on their developing proposals, individualized methodology consultations with CRF expert faculty and guidance on funding sources.   

Since its inception, CRF grants have totaled $30,978,561. Over the past year, CRF Family Research Scholars have submitted 20 grants totaling $22,375,339.
