The Facilities Service Center is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. You may contact a Facilities Management Coordinator if your request has not been addressed within two weeks.

In An Emergency

For emergencies: Fire, fire potential, loss of life, bodily injury, life-threatening or criminal activity, chemicals or other environmental hazards:

  • Call 413-545-3111, the emergency number to UMass Police from your cell.
  • Call 413-545-3111 through Microsoft Teams.
  • Call from one of the Campus Help Phones (auto-connects to UMass Police).

Best practice for on-campus emergencies is to use your cell phone. If you must use Teams, call (413) 545-3111 directly.  If you call 911 via TEAMS, you will still get a public safety dispatcher, but be ready to give your exact location.  A call from TEAMS to 911 may be problematic with determining your location.
