Welcome to Facilities & Campus Services. We’re proud to be the stewards of the University’s facilities, infrastructure and grounds, and the local provider of our public transportation. Who We Are
Reporting directly to the Vice Chancellor for Administration & Finance, the Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities & Campus Services oversees five major campus divisions: Administrative Services, Campus Planning, Design & Construction Management, Physical Plant and Transportation Services.
With a diverse workforce of nearly a thousand people and tasked with managing the implementation of a multi-year capital plan approaching a billion dollars, Facilities & Campus Services is responsible for a major portion of non-academic functions at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
What We Do
From parking and bus service to pedestrian pathways, from lights and heat to waste management and recycling, from buildings old and new to the University's entire carbon footprint, FCS has a direct and profound impact on the lives of every student, faculty member and administrator on the UMass Amherst campus every day.
