Tributes: Keeping Remembrances Alive

UMass Amherst has over 500 tributes on campus that celebrate life, retirement, friendship and professional achievement - evident by the benches, gardens, trees and sculptures on campus. Tributes include unique creations of an artist to living treasures that keep a remembrance alive. Our earliest tribute is the Stockbridge House  known as the University Club dedicated in 1728. We thank David and Lynne Adams, authors of the book "Massachusetts Memories - UMass Amherst History" for the list of "Campus Names" and associated memorials where much of information came from.

Please contact Jennifer Beane, Senior Director, Donor Engagement at (413) 727-2606 or @email if you are interested in making a tribute.
