Facilities & Campus Services (F&CS) is a major unit within Administration & Finance (AF) at UMass Amherst. Its main areas include Campus Development, Facilities Management, and FCS Administration & Strategic Initiatives.
F&CS employs nearly one thousand people and is responsible for planning, design and construction activities, management and maintenance of facilities, infrastructure, and grounds, and for campus area public transportation and parking services. F&CS also has a dedicated business services department responsible for budgeting, inventory, procurement, and business process workflow.

Facilities Management
Facilities Management includes Operational Services,
Alterations, Building Maintenance, Custodial Services, Grounds Services, Sustainable UMass, Utilities and Waste Management. Areas within Operational Services are: Customer Service, Mail & Distribution Services and Residential Service Desks.
FCS Administration & Strategic Initiatives
FCS Administration & Strategic Initiatives oversees the areas of facilities operations that includes: Transportation (Parking, Transit Services, and Fleet), Business Services, Communications, and Human Resources.
