Pinar Ormeci ’00 MS is a seasoned veteran of the global tech industry, currently leading Timus Networks as its CEO with an unwavering commitment to protecting small to mid-sized businesses from data breaches and ransomware. With over two decades of experience spanning SaaS, Cybersecurity, Mobile Tech, and Telecommunications, Ormeci’s journey has encompassed both high-growth startups and Fortune 500 giants. Prior to her tenure at Timus, she was one of the trailblazers in the global adoption of mobile wireless technologies at Qualcomm and spearheaded large digital transformation projects for Ericsson customers in Europe. Notably, she was instrumental in multiple successful company exits. She owned the P&L for the highest revenue-generating customer ($130M+/year) at TNS when TNS was acquired and taken private by Siris Capital. At Lookout, she was the Global VP of World-Wide partner business for the consumer division when the division sold to F-Secure (both companies are majority partner-led). Beyond her corporate endeavors, Ormeci is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as a dedicated mentor to the next generation of STEM talent. Her contributions earned her a spot among the esteemed Top 50 CEOs of 2023, as recognized by the Women We Admire platform. In addition to her MS from UMass Amherst, Ormeci has a bachelor's degree in electrical and computer engineering from Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey, graduating summa cum laude. She loves animals, and lives with her 2 adopted dog companions, Richard and Pepe in Miami, Florida.
