Matt Soucy '23, '24MS

Hi, I’m Matt! I am a graduate Mechanical Engineering student from Stoneham, MA.

During the summer of 2022, I worked as a Computer-Aided Engineering intern at Applied Materials in Gloucester, MA. At Applied, I learned lots about finite element analyses using Creo and Mathcad, and also spent some time organizing and editing the company-wide wiki pages. This past summer, I chose not to work in an internship as I decided I wanted to spend most of my summer traveling, which is one of my favorite hobbies. I went to many European countries such as Hungary, Czech Republic, Switzerland, as well as places in the US like Nantucket, New York, and Maine. Overall, it was definitely a summer to remember!

Outside of engineering, I like to play/watch sports, exercise, read, and travel. I am very excited to work with you all in the career center!
