Nehal Patel

Patel has more than 18 years of experience with strengthening customer relationships to turn around underperforming programs, strategically executing change management to support organizations, and bridging gaps between business and technology to manage complex programs. Patel is the author of Practical Project Management for Engineers, a book published by Artech House.

Among Patel’s wealth of experience with such entities as United Technologies Aerospace Systems, Cubic Corporation, Amazon, Raytheon, and others, she was recently the vice president for the Mass Transit Agency Program, directing various company entities to quickly negotiate terms and finalize contract agreements.

Patel was also the senior program manager for multiple U.S. Navy Programs, directing program teams to execute various U.S. Navy and international imaging systems. In another recent job, she was a risk manager for the U.S. Air Force Launch and Test Range Systems, applying lean six sigma methods during a 12-month effort to streamline and integrate program risk management into an overall systems development process.
