Workshop on Public Speaking to be Offered Jan. 16

Jake Livenwood hosting workshop

The Graduate School’s Office of Professional Development is hosting a public speaking workshop on Wednesday, Jan. 16 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Integrated Learning Center S240.

The event will feature Jake Livengood, senior assistant director of graduate student career services at MIT. Livengood will share strategies on helping to prepare for presentations, engage audiences, reduce anxiety and even frame research for a more general audience.
