VIDEO: UMACC Campaign Continues Through Jan. 31

Faculty, staff and retirees are invited to participate in the UMass workplace giving program known as “UMACC” (the UMass Amherst Community Campaign) through Monday, Jan. 31, 2022.

Local nonprofits depend on the support of the UMass community. Approximately 65% of the $450,000 raised this year through UMACC will go to western Massachusetts nonprofits. Throughout the pandemic, UMass employees have remained generous and increased donations focused on bolstering food security and meeting other basic needs.

The campaign is co-chaired by Greg Carvel, head men’s hockey coach, and Barbara Krauthamer, dean of the College of Humanities and Fine Arts. They are featured in this video in which they speak about the impact of UMass on local nonprofits and the continued support from UMass faculty, staff and retirees during the pandemic.

Join the campaign and make a difference in the lives of your friends and neighbors! Donate via the UMACC website or contact jengallant@umass.edu with your donation request.
