Video: Public Art Project ‘Forestation Syncopation’
Public art project “Forestation Syncopation” was created by Sandy Litchfield, UMass Amherst associate professor of architecture.
The project includes a series of glass installations commissioned by Metropolitan Transportation Authority/Arts & Design and located at New Hyde Park Station on the Long Island Rail Road.
“Forestation Syncopation” is an example of the type of work that will be supported by a new, interdisciplinary master of design program currently being developed by the Department of Architecture in public art and engagement.
