U.S. News & World Report Ranks Online Undergraduate and Graduate Programs at UMass Amherst for 2021

Online bachelor’s degree programs at the University of Massachusetts Amherst rank 21st nationally, up two spots from last year, according to a survey released by U.S. News & World Report, which also ranked the university 13th for online baccalaureate programs for veterans.

The list of the 362 schools with the best online bachelor’s programs for 2021 is based on weighted factors in student engagement, faculty credentials and training, student services and technology and peer reputation. The weighting varied among programs.

In the area of graduate education, the College of Nursing rose to 12th, for its online master’s program, up 11 spots from the 2020 ranking of 23rd. The nursing education program was ranked 11th. The Online MBA program at the Isenberg School of Management ranked 26th in the general survey and 19th for veterans. Isenberg’s finance program was ranked 10th, business analytics at 11th and the general management program at 21st. The online education master’s program in the College of Education was ranked at 132nd.
