Unpacking the 2022 Midterm Elections: Where Are We Heading?

On Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 11:30 a.m., the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences and the Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences will host a panel discussion, “Unpacking the 2022 Midterm Elections: Where Are We Heading?” in Old Chapel.

The discussion will address questions about the future of immigration, women's reproductive rights, the Supreme Court and the economy. Panelists will discuss how these issues are shaping the 2022 midterm elections. The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel.

  • Rodrigo Dominguez-Villegas, '17 PhD, director of research of the UCLA Latino Policy and Politics Institute
  • Tatishe Nteta, Provost Professor of Political Science at UMass Amherst and director of UMass Poll
  • Lenore Palladino, assistant professor of economics and public policy, UMass Amherst
  • Doug Rice, associate professor of political science, UMass Amherst
