University Women's Network to Host Speaker Lunch with Author Susie Gaglia

The University Women’s Network (UWN) invites all women employees to hear Susie Gaglia give a talk on Thursday, Oct. 17 at noon in the Life Science Laboratory, room S340. 

Gaglia, author of the book, “An American Railroad Dream,” has had a 15 year career as an engineer on Amtrak and Conrail where she ran high speed passenger trains and pulled numerous freight trains. She will present on how she broke into a male dominated field to become one of the first female railroad engineers in the country.

Cost of the event and buffet lunch is $12 for UWN members and $15 for guests. Registration is required.

To pay by mail, send cash or check (make checks payable to University of Massachusetts) to Valerie Vazquez-Alexander, Goodell Hall.
