UMPD, Amherst PD and Hadley PD to Host “Stuff-A-Cruiser”

Donations from "Stuff-A-Cruiser" are going to be delivered to local organizations including Jessie's House, The Bridge, The Survival Center and 22 News for the Toys for Tots campaign.

The UMass Police Department is joining forces with the Amherst and Hadley Police Departments to host a “Stuff-A-Cruiser” event this holiday season to gather donations of toys, clothing, toiletries, non-perishable food items and any other donatable items.

The three forces are booked to hold an event at the Walmart in Hadley on Sunday, Dec. 15, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Donations from the event are going to be delivered to local organizations including Jessie's House, The Bridge, The Survival Center and 22 News for the Toys for Tots campaign. 

The Hadley Police Department is also conducting a “Stuff-A-Trunk” on Sunday, Dec. 8, from 10 a.m. to noon as well as a “Cop on Top” event for the Special Olympics on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Both events will take place at the Lowes in Hadley.

Cruisers from each department are scheduled to be present with hopes of being stuffed full with donations. Please consider stopping by and donating to those in need.
