The Interdepartmental Program in Film Studies has announced the launch of two new programs beginning this fall.  

The new Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies builds on the program’s long history of interdisciplinary teaching and research, offering students a comprehensive education in cinema, media and culture. 

The Online Graduate Certificate in Videographic Criticism is the first of its kind, providing advanced training in videographic criticism – a growing field that blends critical writing with creative video-based scholarship – through fully online courses accessible to students worldwide.
