UMass Amherst Graduate Programs in Professional Schools Earn National Rankings from U.S. News & World Report

Graduate programs in business, education and engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst rank among the best in the nation as reported in the U.S. News & World Report 2021 edition of Best Graduate Schools, which was released in March.

The Isenberg School of Management’s on-campus MBA program was named number 53 among the nation’s full-time MBA programs, having risen more than 20 spots from the previous year’s rankings. The part-time MBA program was ranked at 28.

The College of Education is ranked 63rd.

The College of Engineering is ranked at 56th. Rankings published for specialty areas in the College of Engineering include chemical engineering (36); civil (46); computer (45); electrical/electronic/communications (58); environmental/environmental health (48); industrial/manufacturing/systems (34); materials (36) and mechanical (56).

 U.S. News ranks six professional school programs annually, which include two areas, medicine and law, which do not have programs on the UMass Amherst campus.
