The Faculty Diversity Team in the Office of the Provost will host the first of two Fall 2023 Classroom Equity Action Plan Faculty Forums from noon-2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3, in the Great Hall on the second floor of Old Chapel. The forums are held in collaboration with the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), Instructional Design, Engagement and Support (IDEAS) and the Office of Academic Planning and Assessment (OAPA).

UMass Amherst faculty members who are engaged in Classroom Equity Action Plan work are invited to the open forum and can drop in any time between noon and 2 p.m. The CTL and the IDEAS Team will be there to share information and resources, offer advice and answer questions about specific action items.

Resources in the Teams Channel site will also be reviewed. The goal is to assist each faculty member, department and college to improve equity, belonging and connectedness in the classroom.

Registration is currently open at https://umassamherst.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2mAF7MYlPH4RKl0.
