Torrey Trust, an assistant professor of learning technology in the College of Education, was selected as the recipient of the Technology as an Agent of Change for Teaching and Learning (TACTL) Early Career Scholar Award from the American Educational Research Association.

This award recognizes early career professionals who make substantial scholarly contributions to the use of technology as an agent of change in in-service or pre-service teacher education.

Torrey’s research, teaching and service focus on the use of digital tools, social media and new technologies, such as 3D printers, to redesign teacher professional learning experiences and positively impact teaching and student learning.
