Trust, Maloy, Butler and Xu Selected as the 2021 Virtual Conference Team Technologies Award Winner

Torrey Trust and Robert Maloy, from the teacher education and curriculum studies department, Allison Butler, from the department of communication, and College of Education doctoral student Chenyang Xu were recently selected for the 2021 Virtual Conference Team Technologies Award for their collaborative work on the eLearning project, “Civics, Government, and Media Literacy Learning for Middle and High School Students and Teachers” as part of the “Building Democracy for All” eBook.

Sponsored by a UMass Amherst Interdisciplinary Faculty Research Award, this team project resulted in the addition of a media literacy learning pathway, featuring 56 interdisciplinary media literacy, civics and government learning activities, to the “Building Democracy for All” eBook.
