Transit Services Announces Temporary Closures, Beginning of Summer Hours

Transportation Services has announced temporary closures for the transit bus garage yard and fleet services garage, as well as the beginning of summer hours for the fleet services garage.

Campus Fuel Pumps Closed Starting Thursday, May 20

The transit bus garage yard will be closed a starting Thursday, May, 20, to receive the first of two layers of pavement.  Access to the fuel pumps will re-open the afternoon of Monday, May 24.  Construction crews are on-site from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., from Monday through Friday, but are maintaining access to the pumps as much as possible. The next layer of pavement and another closure is anticipated on Friday, June 11 but the schedule is weather-dependent.

Fleet Services Garage Closed Monday, May 17 through Friday, May 21

The garage will be closed for year-end inventory for the week of Monday, May 17 through Friday, May 21.  If an emergency repair is needed call the solutions center at 413-545-6401 to reach an on-call mechanic or leave a message at 413-545-6511.

Fleet Services Garage Summer Hours Begin Monday, May 24

When the fleet garage reopens on Monday, May 24, hours will be 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the remainder of the summer.
