Training for New Electronic Research Administration System to Begin April 16

Information sessions and trainings will begin April 16 for Kuali, the new electronic research administration (ERA) software the campus will transition to begining July 1. 

Kuali will be available for use starting Monday, July 8 at 8 a.m. 

To allow for data migration from SmartGrant, neither system will be available from July 1 to 7. This transition week was selected to align with the annual PeopleSoft downtime and to fall during the week of the July 4 holiday.

Proposals due to sponsors between July 1 to 10 have to be submitted within SmartGrant in the last two weeks of June. Detailed information and a table with dates for submission to the Office of Pre-Award Services (OPAS) and to the sponsor can be found here.

Kuali will also replace e-Protocol for both human subjects (IRB) and animal subjects (IACUC) and include a new online annual Conflict of Interest (COI) disclosure process. More details will be shared at a later date.
