Traffic Alert: Construction on Holdsworth Way in August

Construction at the Transit/PVTA Bus Garage will require digging across Holdsworth Way on Monday, Aug. 16 and Tuesday, Aug. 17.

Work will impact one side of the road at a time and UMass police will direct traffic. Access to the north entrance of the Physical Plant loading dock will be maintained at all times and traffic will be allowed through one direction at a time.

Vehicles can avoid the area by accessing Holdsworth Way via North Service Road west of the Computer Science Building.

The construction schedule is subject to change due to weather and other factors but the contractors will make every effort to keep the impact to traffic to a minimum.
