Torrey Trust and Co-authors' Article Wins an APEX 2021 Award for Publication Excellence in the ‘COVID-19 Media’ category

Torrey Trust, associate professor of learning technology in the College of Education, along with co-authors Charles Hodges, Stephanie Moore, Barb Lockee, and Aaron Bond published the EduCAUSE article, “The Difference Between Emergency Remote Teaching and Online Learning” in March 2020 with the goal of helping the field of education distinguish between well-designed online courses and the rapid shift to remote/online teaching that was occurring during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S.
