Theresa Austin Publishes an Analyses of Language Use in Women’s March

Theresa Austin, coordinator of the language, literacy and culture concentration in the College of Education, collaborated on a recently published research project that examined language use in women’s marches.

The collective effort entitled “Resistance, solidarity, and sisterhood in the age of Trump: images from the Women’s March in Washington, D.C” was co-authored with graduate students and colleagues at George Mason University and published in the Journal of Critical Inquiry in Language Studies. It was published in the journal “Critical Inquiry in Language Studies.”
