Suicide Prevention Expert Will Speak at Public Health Symposium
The university community is invited to the School of Public Health and Health Sciences Dean’s Symposium on suicide prevention, featuring keynote speaker Dr. Eric Caine, director of the Injury Control Research Center for Suicide Prevention at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
The symposium, “A Conversation in the Community: A Public Health Approach to Suicide Prevention,” is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, April 4 in Old Chapel. Other speakers include Kelley Cunningham, director of the suicide prevention program at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and Lisa Wexler, associate professor of health promotion and policy.
Gloria DiFulvio, health promotion and policy senior lecturer, will moderate a panel discussion following the presentations.
